LOST IN LOVE photography

It’s no secret that finding the perfect wedding photographer for your special day can be an overwhelming process. With an abundance of incredible photographers now specialising in Weddings, the options are endless. We sat down with one of our favourite Australian based photography trios, Lost In Love to discuss all things wedding photography. Here at Anna Campbell we are huge fans of Lost In Love, having worked with the team for many years to create our beautiful collection campaigns that many of you are familiar with and we are so excited to introduce you to team behind the images.

How do you describe your photography style and what makes you unique?

Flattering silhouettes, pastel tones, stunning backdrops and light filled photographs have become synonymous with the Lost In Love Brand…

We would describe our style as elegant, crisp, glowy and bright, reflecting all the happy vibes that are ever present on a wedding day. A deep understanding of design and a passion for fashion silhouettes also gives us the advantage of capturing an effortless elegance as well as all the intricate textures and details of your wedding dress.

What is the first piece of advice you would give to a couple that is currently searching for the right photographer?

When looking at a photographers work, check that the couple (subject) look relaxed and happy and free to be themselves, that’s when you know the photographer is good! When you’ve fallen in love with a photographers work and vibe, contact the photographer and make sure you understand each other, ease of communication is so important to achieving beautiful wedding photographs.

What is your favourite moment when capturing a couple’s special day?

There are so many beautiful moments to a wedding day!!! Up there with our favourite is the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time, wether it be during a first see or down the aisle. We also love photographing couples saying their vows, so many tears of love!

But we have to say, our absolute favourite moment to photograph is our couples enjoying sunset. With formalities over, they get to enjoy each other and take the opportunity to soak up all the good vibes from their day. That feeling of overwhelming love and joy is so infectious, and a stunning backdrop at sunset is like the cherry on top!

We are so envious of your endless travels, what is your favourite place to travel to shoot weddings?

Woah - that's tough question. Part of what we love about travelling is exploring places we’ve not been, but if we have to chose just one location from where we have been, we’d say Lake Como. Everything about Lake Como is a dream. You feel like you’re living amongst a romantic movie set where the backdrop so surreal and divine in every direction. From Lake Como, Villa Balbiano has stolen our hearts.

How far in advance do you recommend brides reach out to you to book their wedding photography?

Asap! Honestly, it's never too early to book in a vendor that you love :) A lot of our couples contact us before they lock in their venue as we get booked out more than 12 months in advance. Daniel and myself are completely booked out for 2021 and it’s so heartbreaking when we have to tell brides that we are not available for their day. Good news though, we now have a second team of photographers who have availability throughout 2021 :)
