The Wedding of Krista and Jon was a whimsical celebration set in lavish garden surrounds, rich with laughter and overwhelming happiness which is inimitably captured in each and every image by Jackson Grant. Meet Krista & Jon | I work in digital marketing and I spend my time either practicing yoga or running. Jon is an accountant and can usually be found playing golf. We used to work together and we met at Friday night work drinks which turned into flaming cocktails at a nearby cocktail bar. The rest is history.

The Proposal | To tell this story properly, we probably have to rewind some time. I had organised a picnic at Polperro Winery in Mornington for a Christmas present. We sat by a lake drinking wine and eating a great picnic in the afternoon sun. After several hours, Jon decided we needed some music so he hit shuffle on Spotify. Our song came on and I sat there thinking this was the moment he would propose. It was very awkward when Jon realised what was happening and it wasn’t the moment.

Fast forward about a year, and Jon knew he had to propose at Polperro. We had both recently been promoted so it seemed the perfect location for a "celebration" lunch. After lunch we went for a walk to the same lake and Jon got down on one knee and proposed. My response? “Why are you kneeling in mud!?” I said yes eventually once the shock wore off.

Finding ‘The One’ | I initially fell in love with a dress when I first saw it on Instagram, I loved the lace and style and thought it would be perfect for me. After a bit of research I decided it was the one.

When I tried on the dress I thought I would love I quickly realised it wasn’t for me. That same month Anna Campbell had released a new range of dresses, so I tried one on and instantly fell in love. It had all the elements I loved from the first dress and fit perfectly. As soon as I saw myself in it, I knew it was the one!

The Anna Campbell Experience | The best moment was trying on my dress for the first time during the fittings. It was fitted perfectly to me and was everything I had wanted in my dress.   

How I felt wearing my Dress | Incredible! It’s hard to put into words how exciting it is to put the dress on and feel like a real bride. I loved the one-shoulder bodice, the Avery lace and the beaded sparkles.

Memorable Moments | Jon’s face when he saw me walking down the aisle and he saw me for the first time. I’ll never forget his look of love and excitement. We were excited to discover the moment was perfectly captured by our photographer, Jackson.

We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it. We wanted to get married in a garden or vineyard and they had both. There was a fabulous lawn for our guests and it was a beautiful backdrop for our day! Our guests are still raving about the food and wine.
