Owned by Maud, this intimate showroom offers a warm, personalised experience for every bride-to-be, bringing together elegance, craftsmanship, and a sense of calm in the heart of the city.
We sat down with Maud to learn more about her boutique, her passion for bridal, and what makes Maison Angèle so special.
Tell us a little about your bridal boutique.
It is an intimate showroom in a Haussmann-style apartment located on the most beautiful square in Lyon.
Where does your passion for bridal come from?
I have always been attracted to the world of fashion, with a wish to one day wear a white dress (realized in September 2024!). I’ve always enjoyed browsing Pinterest and Instagram for dress trends, décor, and all things weddings.
Dos and don’ts when shopping for your bridal look?
Maud emphasises a stress-free approach: “I’m here to help and advise brides to find their perfect dress. I recommend starting your planning about 9–10 months before your wedding to avoid additional stress.”
Tell us about the experience at your boutique.
I am committed to welcoming my brides into a cocoon, so that they feel good and confident. I greet them with a drink, and if we have the pleasure of a 'YES', it’s celebrated with champagne!
What’s the best part about working in bridal?
The moment when a bride has stars in her eyes and finds THE dress of her dreams!
A piece of advice for brides-to-be.
Stress-free. Start early, enjoy the process, and trust your consultant to guide you to the perfect gown.

What drew you to the Anna Campbell brand?
I was looking for an exclusive brand with a strong reputation, a leader in weddings, and a handmade approach. Anna Campbell fits perfectly.
Favourite Anna Campbell gown?
It’s hard to choose, but I would say Dahlia, Emmerson, and Clémentine.
Best advice for a bride-to-be?
My advice to every bride is to start your dress journey 9–10 months before your wedding. This way, you can enjoy the experience fully, without stress, and find the gown that truly makes you feel unforgettable on your special day.
