Some weddings just hum with joy from the very first moment, and this celebration at the Convent was one of them. A carefree bridal morning, a groom nervously watching the weather, and a perfectly timed walk through the garden set the tone for a day filled with heart, family, and unforgettable moments. As speeches moved everyone to tears and the dance floor pulsed long past midnight — with even a 91-year-old grandma tearing it up — this wedding became the kind you remember for a lifetime.

We’re honoured to reveal Brooke’s stunning wedding and treasured moments she chose to share with us.

“It was the most magical day. From the bridal perspective, we had the most relaxing, fun morning - dancing around the living room, champagne, makeup and hair went smoothly and on time. The groom was a little more nervous - watching the weather closely with rain predicted as I was supposed to walk down the aisle. He made the call to risk it - I walked down the aisle (through the garden at the Convent) 10 minutes early to avoid the little rain spell. Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives. To have our entire family together, which rarely happens and all our favourite people in one room. The speeches from our parents were incredibly special and something we will remember forever. The food, atmosphere, and drinks were perfection, and the dance floor was non stop all night - even Steve's 91 yr old Grandma was up and at it to Sandstorm! It was a night we will never forget and we danced until 2:30am in the morning.”

Tell us about your journey to find the perfect gown:

“I tried on 16 dresses in one day across three stores, I left Anna Campbell to last as I knew I'd fall in love with one of her gowns. The minute I put the Mila gown on - I just started to cry, I felt like a princess, elegant and bridal and I knew she was the one.”

How was your experience with the Anna Campbell Team?

“The experience was effortless honestly - found my dress dress with the wonderful team in Melbourne, then all the fittings were so smooth and well organised, I was lucky enough to have Anna herself do my fittings which was such an honour and I knew my dress would be perfect in her teams hands. It was so stress free and wonderful. I wish I could do it all again!”

Do you have a favourite moment from the day?

“It is really hard to narrow down to just one. Dancing with my friends to Love Story, walking into the reception room as husband and wife, the moment we were first together during the ceremony and our first kiss, my dad seeing me in my dress for the first time. I loved every minute of it.”
