My First New York Bridal Fashion Week Runway

As New York Bridal Fashion Week approaches, I can’t help but reflect on my journey—and on that very first time I showed in the city back in 2016.

It wasn’t just a presentation; it was a full runway. Backstage was alive with energy—models lining up, gowns being steamed and pinned, the hum of excitement before stepping out under the lights. Outside, the city that never sleeps was buzzing, and inside, my gowns were about to walk down a runway in front of the world.

I still remember the feeling: part nerves, part disbelief, and mostly pure joy. To see our silks, our hand-beading, our romantic details floating down a New York runway—it felt like a dream come true.

What began in my living room in Melbourne in 2007 had somehow led me here. That show was more than a milestone—it was proof that our vision could resonate far beyond Australia.

Looking back now, I see how that moment shaped everything that followed. It opened doors, connected us with brides and stockists around the world, and set the stage for what Anna Campbell has become today: a brand that continues to celebrate romance, craftsmanship, and the magic of finding the gown.
