Our Tailoring Service
The alterations phase marks a truly magical chapter in your bridal experience, allowing you to witness firsthand the transformation of your gown.
We take immense pride in offering our brides an in-house tailoring service — a rare and special experience in today’s bridal world. From start to finish, your gown remains in the hands of the same talented artisans who crafted it in our Melbourne Design Studio. This holistic process ensures every stitch, bead, and seam is handled with the same care and creative vision that first brought your gown to life.
Tailoring starts from $499.
Our Fitting Process
As each gown is individually handcrafted and incredibly detailed, we recommend a two-week interval between each appointment. Ideally, this process begins around 6–8 weeks before your preferred collection date.
Across 3–4 intimate fittings, our expert seamstresses work closely with you to perfect the fit, creating a gown that feels as though it was made just for you — because it truly was.
Priority Tailoring
Our Exclusive Service for Interstate Brides
For brides with limited time or those traveling from interstate, we provide an express priority alterations service. In this specialised service, our design team temporarily freeze all other work to solely concentrate and focus on completing your gown. This minimises the need for multiple visits to our Melbourne design studio by consolidating your entire fitting process into 2-3 consecutive days, aiming to have your gown ready for pickup by your final appointment.
Please note that priority alterations are available only from Monday to Thursday and include an additional charge of $499.00. We ask that brides be available for fittings across three days to ensure our team can accomplish an incredibly fit during your time with us.

Our Tailoring Service Step-by-step

Your first fitting marks a special milestone — after months of handcrafting, you’ll finally see your gown come to life.
We’ll focus on how the gown fits and feels, making initial adjustments to the shoulders, bust, waist, and side seams to begin shaping it perfectly to you. Comfort and confidence are our top priorities.
Please bring your wedding shoes, shapewear, and any undergarments you plan to wear, as these will impact the overall fit and silhouette.
Note: A 30% payment installment is due at the completion of your first fitting.

At your second fitting, you’ll notice a beautiful transformation — your gown will already feel much more secure and aligned with your body. This is where we refine the fit through additional seam work and begin preparing your gown for hemming.
This appointment is also the perfect opportunity to try your chosen veil, accessories, and shoes to ensure every detail works harmoniously together.

By the third fitting, your gown will be nearly complete. The hem will have been finalised, and we’ll focus on precision — ensuring the drape, proportions, and structure are all perfect.
This is the time for final tweaks, such as refining the waist, adjusting straps, or perfecting sleeve positioning. We may also review the bustle and any additional finishing touches.
Depending on your gown’s complexity, a fourth fitting may be required to finalise your alterations.

Your final fitting brings everything together — your gown is complete and perfectly tailored to you. Take a moment to sit, move, and walk to ensure it feels flawless.
We’ll guide you through bustling your gown, so it’s best to bring along someone who’ll assist you on the day.
Your tailor may request photos to document our craftsmanship and inspire future brides. These are for internal use only and will never be shared without your consent.
Your gown will then be placed in your Anna Campbell garment bag, ready for travel or safe storage.
Note: Your final invoice balance is due at the completion of your final fitting.
