ZOE | GWIL

“Held at Bellbrae Harvest, nestled in the countryside along Victoria’s Surf Coast, surrounded by the things we love most - trees, animals, sunshine, pasta, cheese, wine and ice cream — it was the perfect day. Our wedding was relaxed and laid-back, just like us. The love, joy and warmth shared throughout the day made it feel incredibly special, and being surrounded by our favourite people made every moment unforgettable.” - Zoe

The journey to finding your dress:

How I found the one — when I walked into the Anna Campbell flagship store, I didn’t really have a clear vision of the dress. The only thing I knew for certain was that I wanted something fitted. They had a plain version of the Cameron gown in store, and I was immediately drawn to the halter-neck style. The moment I put it on, something just clicked — it felt like me. I then tried on the embellished Cameron and completely fell in love with the back detailing and belt. While the pearl detailing across the upper bust was beautiful, I knew deep down I wanted something a little more understated and true to my style. Frankie was incredible throughout the whole process and helped bring the vision to life by customising the dress to keep the details I loved most. From that point on, I truly couldn’t picture myself in anything else. I also never imagined myself wearing a veil. But when I tried on the Brooklyn veil in store, everything suddenly came together. In that moment, I could finally see the full vision — and it just felt so special. From then on, I couldn’t move past it.

How was your experience with the Anna Campbell team?

My experience from start to finish was truly incredible. From the beautiful alterations studio to the warmth and care shown by every member of the team, the entire process felt so special. It became such a meaningful part of my wedding journey and is a memory I’ll always treasure. Thank you to the team for bringing my dream dress to life and making the whole experience feel so personal, exciting and unforgettable.

Favourite memory from the day:

Choosing a favourite moment is incredibly hard, but nothing compares to the moment my two-year-old son, George, walked me down the aisle and we both saw Gwil standing there beaming with joy. It was the most emotional and joy-filled moment — one I will never forget. Another moment I’ll always treasure was at the very end of the evening, sitting beside the open fire with just Gwil and I, sharing an espresso martini and eating the food that Bellbrae Harvest had so kindly plated up for us. Taking a quiet moment together to reflect on the most perfect day felt incredibly special and was the most beautiful way to end it all.
