Charleton and Jack’s wedding was a warm, countryside celebration that felt deeply personal to their shared roots. With sweeping valley views, a rustic grain shed reception, and a dance floor to remember, it was a day filled with heartfelt moments and enduring love.
Tell us about your wedding day:
“We got married at Kimo Estate just outside of Gundagai in NSW. It was the most beautiful day, a warm afternoon in March. Surrounded by all our family and friends. Kimo is a stunning venue that offered just what we wanted. A gorgeous homestead among the hills not far from our farm, it had all our favourite elements. Beautiful garden, views across the valley and the 'Grain Shed' reception centre was very reflective of the childhood my husband and I have both had growing up on the land. The day was so special, with lots of smiling faces so much love could be felt by all in attendance and a dance floor that provided so much entertainment! A perfect day that all our friends and family are still talking about!!”
How did you find your perfect dress?
“I chose my dress based on how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. I knew I wanted to be 'stunning' and that's exactly how I felt in the Scout dress. The simplicity of the dress was just perfect and it went so beautifully with the few little extra details I chose. The beaded back pieces, full length buttons on the zipper and lace detailing on my veil brought the look together for me. I did have two appointments to go back and be 100% sure I was in love with my dress and the feeling when I looked at myself in the mirror was just awe at how gorgeous the dress made me feel.”
Tell us about your Anna Campbell experience:
“My experience at Anna Campbell was nothing short of amazing. From my first visit to the show room to final fitting it was just beautiful. The staff were so lovely and friendly, always following up and making sure that I had everything. They provided some little tips and tricks for the day of and care of my dress post wedding. As someone who doesn't live in Melbourne, the option to have all my fittings done across a few days was such a blessing. It meant one trip to Melbourne, fittings and alterations happened so quickly too. I especially loved getting to meet Anna when we picked up my dress from the last fitting. Seeing it all come together was just the most beautiful experience.”
What was your favourite moment?
“My favourite moment of the day walk walking around the verandah of the house with my dad. Seeing the faces of our closest family and friends and how beautiful they looked all dressed up. The finishing touch for this moment was seeing my husband to be Jack waiting at the end of the aisle.”
