Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Yarra Valley, Amanda and Brett’s wedding was a perfect blend of romance and celebration. The day began with an intimate first look at the lush Alowyn Gardens in Yarra Glen, where they were soon joined by their wedding party for photos among the greenery. Their ceremony and reception took place at the picturesque Acacia Ridge, where sweeping vineyard views set the tone for a heartfelt celebration. From start to finish, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends.

Now, Amanda takes us through the highlights of their unforgettable day.

“I’ve always wanted my wedding dress to be from Anna Campbell. I love the pretty and girly details whilst also being sophisticated and classic. The vibe I was going for the wedding was “classic garden party” the Tahlia Empress was a perfect match! The cosmos flower detail (which we also then had in my florals and replicated on the cake) in a classic cut suited the vibe perfectly.”

“My favourite moment from my wedding day was walking down the aisle- even though we had seen each other at our first look, it was still the most nerve wracking moment and I was so overwhelmed beforehand. As soon as I started walking with my dad, I was bawling my eyes out, I saw my now husband Brett holding our 8 month old son Lachie at the end of the aisle and I could see him also bawling. This made me giggle at how emotional we were, whilst also feeling excited to get there, proud to see my two men at the end waiting for me and safe knowing what was ahead”

My experience with Anna Campbell was nothing short of perfection. Frankie at the hawthorn boutique was a dream, she helped me every step of the way. In our first appointment she just knew I’d love the Tahlia Empress and that it was a great match for my body. I was 6 weeks postpartum at the time and she made me feel so comfortable and gave me so many options to try to suit my changing body. I was only 6 months out from the wedding when purchased the dress but I never felt rushed or stressed. Hatice, who was in charge of alternations, was just as amazing. She held my son during appointments when needed and kept him entertained, she was flexible with her time and adding in more sessions and knew exactly what we needed to make the dress fit perfectly.
