We caught up with Anna Campbell bride, Jasmine, to learn more about how she went about planning her dream wedding!

Style.

AC: We absolutely love your attention to detail, tell us how would you describe your wedding style?

Jasmine: The words I would use to describe my wedding would be rustic-modern, boho, glam, and laid back fun! 

Planning.

AC: How did you go about planning your wedding?

Jasmine: My wedding day truly was a dream come true. I planned it myself, so seeing it all come together was amazing! From having family and friends travel from near and far (from Canada, California, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Illinois, New York, and all over Georgia), to having our sweet doggies be our flower girls, you could feel the love and the day was pure magic. We got engaged on Oct 28th 2016 and married on Sept 16th 2017, and that was the perfect amount of time for planning. I decided to go with the color scheme of rose gold, gold, and blush despite people telling me those aren’t fall colors because, well, why not?! 

Venue.

AC: How did you find such an incredible venue?!

Jasmine:  I always dreamed of having my wedding at a barn venue (funny since I’m from California) yet still wanted it to be modern with all the glitz and glam! We truly could have not been more lucky with our venue. I can go on and on about how awesome this venue is. They really helped make the wedding planning process so much easier. What I loved about this venue is it was DIY but still included a lot at the same time. Having the bridal suite (gorgeous 100 yr old renovated farm house) ceremony site and reception site all it one place helped to make sure the day ran smoothly.

Dress.

AC: And, of course, tell us about how you decided on THE DRESS! You looked incredible in your Grace Dress!

Jasmine: After finding my dream venue, I needed to find my dream dress. I had been following Anna Campbell on Instagram since before I was even engaged, and I fell in love with how unique all of the dresses are. I knew I wanted to be that unique bride. I found out Kelly's Closet, a stockist in Georgia, was having an Anna Campbell trunk show and, as fate would have it, they had a cancellation 5 mins before I called (Eeek, happy dance!!) I took one of my bridesmaids with me and it was the most relaxing experience ever. I felt like a princess and literally loved every dress I tried on (of course). I narrowed it down to three choices, and ended up with Grace. SHE IS PERFECT! Everything I ever wanted in a wedding dress and so much more. Grace was my perfect amount of glitz-glam and boho, yet still laid back fun! I didn’t think I could find all those different things in one dress, but I did!!! I love how the top is so sparkly then you can pair it with whichever bottom skirt style you’d like. I went with the silk chiffon bottom, and boy was that perfect for dancing! I also loved how it already comes with a bustle!

Favourite moment.

AC: And finally, can you share your favourite moment from the day?

Jasmine: Hands down, my favorite part of the day was the ceremony and reading my vows (we wrote our own). We decided not to do a first look, as we wanted the first time seeing each other to be as I was walking down the aisle. I'm so glad we chose to do that, as it made it even more special. The entire ceremony it felt like it was just myself and my now husband. I fall short of words when trying to explain the amount of love I felt in that exact moment, or in that entire day!
