Tell us about your wedding!: Our wedding day started slow and peacefully waking up in the mist surrounding peak view retreat in Nelson New Zealand. Sam (my husband) and I made coffee and breakfast and watched as the mist slowly started to lift and the view from the retreat begin to show itself. Our initial plan was to take a heli ride at 7 am but due to the fog we had to rearrange plans and wait the fog out. We ended up finally getting the go ahead around 5pm that we could take off ! we all cheered and raced to Nelson to catch our ride.

Going with the flow was the theme of the day and we told our pilot to take us anywhere at that point. We flew along the coast towards the Marlborough Sounds and landed on a black sand beach surrounded by grassy hills. we hopped to the top of one of the hills and choose our spot with the milky blue water below us and said our vows. we drank champagne and explored a little more of the coast and the small spot we choose for ourselves.

We flew back to Peak View Retreat and made grilled cheese with tomato soup and danced to our favorite music. We had our first dance on the balcony with the views and sunset. We played a game of chess while we ate and did everything that made us the happiest. After dinner we soaked up the last of the evening in the wood burning hot tup to cap off the evening.

I chose my dress because...: I loved the movement of the beads at my back and knew the design of it would allow me to move freely without restriction and be able to show all the movement that comes with an adventure elopement.

My experience with Anna Campbell was...: Easy and the dress was exquisitely crafted.
